  • Ok... now its a record... 13 days...

I'm sorry, oh so sorry that I haven't posted in sooooooo long, but I've been busy.

First off, work... I've had this Architectural Desktop Project for the
past 4 months or so and in the past 2 weeks, I've been transposing my
chicken scratch of writing on paper to the computer.... That combined
with the program itself saying: "Nope, after 18700 objects and 9MB's
later, I'm going to crash on you for no reason.. but, I'll be nice and
ask if you want to save and then recover the files.. have a nice day..."

It's done that about 11 times so far ... ugg

But, I have to work the 2 week Shut down period and I really wanted to
goto NS again too... At least to keep going to JJ and to see N again :D

She's going through a rough time with roomates and its one thing to
cheer her up on MSN, but I'm more of a people person. Every little bit
    helps in my mind :)

Ribs Heal, Muscles mend.... Knowledge, lasts forever...

JJ seminar last saturday (Or was it the Saturday before...) went
extremely well.. I was in so much pain (the good kind, if there is
any... ;) ) but the refresher course was nice and the rest of the class
(those that could show up) finally caught a glimpse of what BigBen and
I had been gushing in utter joy and the retelling of stories for the
    past year :)

I also learned that going to a Chinese buffett afterwards is THE most
rewarding ... well, reward... that one can do after a seven and a half
    hour seminar...

Then drinks afterwards at Sensei's house and the retelling of funny
stories fully retold in all their colour and glory that made us laugh
our asses off till the wee hours of the morning... All stories were
told with various Simpson's quotes in between to keep the mood going :)

Homer: "Stupid, Itchy Church Pants!!! One-size fits all my ass!" was the common and funny one :)

Then last wednesday in class, during breakfall rolls, I twisted my
ankle... Its about 90% now... I should be ready for this coming Class...

WoW our 'Virgin' Molten Core run.... 5+ hours later....

This was my true test of a gamers will, determination and endurance...
I personally hadn't done something like this since two instances:

    1) My 6.5 hour Age of Empires: Age of Kings Battle on Blackforest
random map, English vs. English against my Clan Leader Snoopy.... I
lost but, I built 22 Castles and still hold the record :)
    2) Since the Lan Party at the Ramada Inn... that was longer from 7pm till 4am ....

This was our Guild's first Molten Core run.. Those that have played WoW
know that it is a hard hard, (dare I say again) hard instance.... I can
safely see way you would need a 40-person group...

Well, we did it with 26... and only got to the second guy... Magamarda
(or somesuch wording ....) a really big Cerberus sized dog that was
    just as mean...

Just to give you a heads up, I play on Cenarius, guild's name is Maelstrom and our website is: www.maelstromguild.net

There is an amazing video that a fellow Guildie made a really great
video of our run... it's 200Meg, but its really worth it. He's truly
    talented in that aspect.

I'll post the link here: http://d14.yousendit.com/E/0MWGLLRIHSPD12IMV8ZNSHRRH9/Maelstrom-MC.wmv
    (Right-click to Save it)

Enjoy :) It was a fun time for sure and I'll be doing it again...

    Vx Out

  • Somehow I realise that when people don't blog, it is often good than not. Glad to hear you live a full life outside internet one.
