  • Dad's coming down for the weekend... More Golf!

    So, I received a 3 video golf lesson package for Christmas (or my birthday, cant remember) I intend to use one on Saturday :)

    I know my driving is screwed up... its ok that is... but my irons are
    half decent, I just need new shoes... :( I've had these one pairs of
    shoes since I started over 10 years ago. If you golf I can safely say
    that Footjoys ARE truly THE best shoe for long term..

    So I'll have to get another.. and make sure that they fit. The last
    pair I got just by looking and I have a wide foot so they didn't quite
    fit, I know this because my feet got blisters on the achillies heel
    where the back of the shoe rubbed... Not making that mistake twice.

    So, Dad will be down, we golf and have dinner.

    Life is good.

    Looking for work while in a job... Good or Bad idea?

    I'm at a job now, things are going well and yet I apply for other jobs
    in my field... Is this a good thing to do or a bad thing? Someone let
    me know. I always hate doing this especially when I'm enjoying the job
    that I'm at...

    WoW mages... I think we're nerfed.. do you?

  • I found that video anything doesn't teach me anything. For example, I rent this guitar video and now I'm still a absolute novice in guitar. How does the Golf video do for you?

    By the way, WoW is so popular now. Everyone is talking about it. Maybe I should get the game to join the crowd.

  • Numfar: The auto industry here is shaky at best. This town is centered around the Big '3' er 4 (now that Toyota is in the picture, which is great). However, the company itself is going through cutbacks. No Overtime right now, wages have been frozen till a review per employee in December.

    The job I was applying for is a City job, union, better wages, set hours... I always apply to them, never get in... But I feel that things are going well (except for that night shift, bull) and i do get free reign for the most part and do my job well.

    Time will tell. I fell guilty about applying for other jobs, I really do, but I have to get the notion that 'loyalty = stupidity' I've been loyal to companies before and have not benefited.

    RedEye: I actually play golf :) This is a lesson (or two or three) with a professional and a video camera is in place to see how my swing is, etc.

    As for WoW, be careful. Yes, it is an amazing game. Yes, it is a time consuming game. Yes, it is an Addictive game (trust me I know). Have fun, limit yourself too playing too many hours. Pick a server that is right for you.

    I recommend, NOT going on a PvP server, unless you like dying alot lol... Stick to the PvE.

    If you are on the East Coast, I would recommend: Elune. If on the West Coast, I would recommend, Cenarius. If it doesn't matter to you, roll the dice and choose :) Or join one of your friends servers that they are on.

    Classes: Warrior = Tank. Pallies = Support. Mages = High DPS, low HP. Rogues = high DPS, more fun overall :)

    Or just random it. Have a blast.

    Framewerkz: Its the Insomnix 1.6 Beta 2 version with the Titan interface, which is probably the best one I've seen since I've been playing.

    FYI, I hit 446k output on a 5man BRD run.. got to love AE.
    I'm thinking about respecing from Frost/Arcane to Fire/Arcane or Arcane/Fire... Your thoughts?

  • I'm on an RP server - Feathermoon.  Not sure what to say about you caster types - I'm playing a hunter.  I've not seen too many fire mages, and if you're stepping up to MC at some stage, you probably want to think about staying frosty, as the mobs in MC will most likely be somewhat fire resistant.

  • More like they are immune constantly except for the Rock Types, minus the Lava Giants.

    But there are other stages that have yet too be open .

    I'm not a WoW player yet, but my colleagues constantly talk about it. Working with him is like risking getting into WoW. Hahaha. Anyways, he uses nightElf Druid and has a lot of cool powers: entanglement, starfire, shapechange,... sounds like a fun class to play with.

    I personally will choose mage, just because I always choose mage in RPG games for the first time.

    Anyways, see how long would I be able to resist WoW. LOL
